James Nares is a fantastic British painter born in London, England in the year 1953. When you think of his work “time capule” should jump into your head. Nares tries to capture the EXACT moment an object was created. Nares uses a variety of unique materials such as thermoplastic on linen or iridescent pigment and wax on linen. Nares most renown works show the trail of a paintbrush dipped in one tone and drug across the canvas.
