Artist of the moment……..Guido Argentini

 

 

 

Guido Argentini is a Italian photographer renown for his images of the figure. Guido Argentini was born in Florence, Italy in the year 1966.

He began college with the idea of studying medicine. He left college after three years to pursue his goal of being a professional photography.

Argentinini is now based out of Los Angeles, California.

Price range information: Works range from $8,000 to $23,000.

Argentini reminds me of photographer Ruth Bernhard. Both artist’s produce very interesting images concentrating not on face and color of the female form, but rather the curves ¬†of the figure and sometimes even the more interesting cast shadows of the female form. Argentini has brought new life to the classic ideas of how to shoot the female form.
