Artist of the moment………Thomas Scheibitz

 

Thomas Scheibitz is a wonderful German artist renown or his abstract paintings and sculpture. Thomas Scheibitz was born in Radeberg, Saxony, Germany in the year 1968. Much of his art is very loosely based on the figure or landscapes.

The artist attended the Dresden School of Fine Arts.

Scheibitz works in many mediums including marker, felt tip pen, graphite, gouache, watercolor,  acrylics, oils, sculpture, and photography.

Price range information: Works range from $5,000 to $200,000.

Scheibitz is now based out of Berlin, Germany.

This is a wonderful form of abstract art because it loosely resembles so many things that many viewers of his work can see different ideas and images in his work. I am really fond of the image of the man with the hat in the gallery.
