Artist of the moment……..Diego Jacobson


Diego Jacobson is a fantastic artist who has overcome extremely difficult health problems to thrive as an Abstract Expressionist painter. Diego Jacobson was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

The artist suffers from a disease called dystonia. This disease causes the body to shake and have uncontrollable tremors. The artist started showing symptoms of this disease when he was eight years of age.

By the time he was 13 his family decided he should have surgery to try and correct the problems. After the surgery he said it corrected about 90% of the neurological problems he was having.

The artist describe his process of a combination of cooperating with the paint and the canvas until he finds the feeling he is looking for.

Jacobson was inspired to become a painter after the artwork of famed Beatle musician Sir Paul McCartney.

Artist of the moment……..Luis Tomasello



Luis Tomasello was an Argentinian artist renown for his Op Art style. Tomasello was a painter, printmaker, and sculptor. Luis Tomasello was born in Buenos Aires, La Plata, Argentina in the year 1915. Tomasello is renown for his style of placing white cubes on a white surface that play with shadows and reflections of light.

The artist studied for six years at the National Academy in Buenos Aires. He then went on to study at the Academy of Art Ernesto de la Cárcova for an additional two years.

In 1957 the artist moved to Paris, France. At that time Tomsello was part of a niche that included many Latin American artists living in Paris.

Luis Tomasello passed away in 2014 at the age of 99.

Artist of the moment………Tulio De Sagastizabal

Tulio De Sagastizabal is a painter born in Posada, Misiones, Argentina in the year 1948. Tulio De Sagastizabal is renown for his abstract works featuring many lines of color.

The artist studied in Buenos Aires, Argentina where he studied at a top high school. Sagastizabal also took workshops from many top regional artists.

He began his career in 1978.
