Artist of the moment……….Tom Fruin

 

Tom Fruin is a recycled materials artist renown for his work with found plexiglass. Tom Fruin was born and raised in Los Angeles, California in the year 1974.

In some earlier works the artist composed his found art with discarded drug bags.

Fruin attended the University of California at Santa Barbara where he earned a B.F.A.

The artist is now based out of New York City.

Fruin finds inspiration in the art of Piet Mondrian.

What a unique and interesting style. I can easily see the comparison to Piet Mondrian. Like Mondrian, only more contemporary!

Artist of the moment……………Pham An Hai

 

 

 

Pham An Hai is a wonderful abstract artist born in Hanoi, Vietnam.  in the year 1967.

An Hai attended the Hanoi Institute of Fine Arts.

Though best known for his abstract works the artist has also experimented with Expressionist and figure painting.

Pham An Hai has a great sense of color. The artist seems to apply paint using many different ways of applying paint giving the surface a wonderful variety texture that is a visual feast for the eyes.
