Artist of the moment…….Karen Schwartz



Karen Schwartz is an American painter renown for Abstract Expressionist style. Though she is perhaps best known for her abstract works, Schwartz is an excellent painter of landscapes and figurative works.

Schwartz also has another professional career, that of a psychotherapist. She has worked at this profession for more than twenty five years.

I enjoy all of the artwork from this artist. Even her works dealing with the figure use interesting compositions and are quite abstract in their final presentation for the viewer.





Artist of the moment…….Mariah Robertson



Mariah Robertson is an American photographer renown for her abstract images. Mariah Robertson was born in Indianapolis, Indiana in the year 1975.

Robertson attended the University of California at Berkeley earning a B.A. degree. She went on to earn an M.F.A. from Yale University.

The artist is based out of Brooklyn, New York.

Her first solo exhibition took place in 2006.

Robertson is part of the permanent of the New York Museum of Modern Art.
