Artist of the moment……….Tom Fruin

 

Tom Fruin is a recycled materials artist renown for his work with found plexiglass. Tom Fruin was born and raised in Los Angeles, California in the year 1974.

In some earlier works the artist composed his found art with discarded drug bags.

Fruin attended the University of California at Santa Barbara where he earned a B.F.A.

The artist is now based out of New York City.

Fruin finds inspiration in the art of Piet Mondrian.

Hanksy is an American street artist based in New York City. Hanksy works with images that are similar to the famous artist Banksy, but with Tom Hanks’ face on most bodies. On a few occasions the artist has used other well known celebrity icons.

Hanksy enjoys playing with words using puns.
