Artist of the moment……..Susan Headley Van Campen

Susan Headley Van Campen is an American artist renown for her art of floral imagery. The artist was born in Springfield, Massachusetts in the year 1951.

The artist attended the Moore College of Art for one year before finishing college at the Pennsylvania Academy of Art. Both colleges are located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

price range information: Sorry none available.

Van Campen has a remarkable sense of design. Often the artist leaves much of the composition blank, thus drawing even more attention to her flowers and leaves. Her leaves have a fantastic sense of life and movement.

Below a link to the website of their artist:

The artist also paints landscapes.

She is married to another artist, Tim Van Campen, who is a graphic designer, painter, and textile artist.

If you enjoy the way this artist paints flowers be sure and check out my post on another watercolor master often working with floral imagery, Gary Bukovnik.
