Rudi Baerwind was a German artist renown for his abstract paintings. Rudi Baerwind was born in Mannheim, Germany in the year 1910. For his artistic education Baerwind attended the Munich Art Academy, the Berlin Art Academy, and the Academy of Fernand Leger based out of Paris, France.
The artist was a prisoner of war in World War Two and his works confiscated and destroyed.
Baerwind was influenced by the Art Informal movement.
