Joseph Szabo is an American photographer renowned for his images of growing up in America as teenager in the 1970s. Szabo was born in Toledo, Ohio in the year 1944.

For his artistic education Joseph Szabo attended the Pratt Institute located in New York City.

The artist has won awards from the National Endowment for the Arts.
