Artist of the moment…….Anthony Autorino

Anthony Autorino was born in Montclair, New Jersey in the year 1937.  His parents had immigrated from Italy.  Autorino is from a group of American painters called the New Hope Impressionists. The artists has a great sense of design and color painting the still life, the figure, and landscapes with a master’s touch.

Autorino served for eight years in the United States Air Force. Whilst stationed in Paris, France Autorino decided he wanted art to be his chosen career path.

Autorino is inspired by artists of the Hudson River School. He is a big fan of George Innes.

Price range information:Sorry none available. The artist works mainly  in oils but has done works in pastel as well.

Its great to see such diversification in a painting portfolio. My favorite works of the artist are his landscapes. Autorino does a great job at capturing the atmosphere of a certain location.
