Artist of the moment…….Caesar Bimmermann

Caesar Bimmermann was a wonderful painter of the landscape in a realist manner. Caesar Bimmermann was born in the year 1821 in Germany. Bimmermann was a wonderful painter of snow covered scenes that included groupings of trees and animals. Many works include groupings of trees mixed with groupings of wildlife. These two elements are used to create a remarkable sense of depth and atmosphere.

For much of his career Bimmermann was based out of Dusseldorf, Germany.

Price range information: Works range from $4,000 to $20,000. Bimmermann painted mainly in oils.

Caesar Bimmermann passed away in 1890.

When its snowy outside I love to enjoy artists who are great at painting snow. Some other artists to check would be Len Chmiel, Richard Schmid, Andy Wyeth, and anyone from the Wiggins family!

Artist of the moment……..Kevin Barrett

Kevin Barrett was born in Ann Arbor, Michigan in the year 1962. Barrett is a great sculptor who works with aluminum and bronzes. Barrett paints and sculpts in a very abstract manner. He also creates wall reliefs using this format. He produces the same wonderful shapes we might see in a Kandinsky work in three dimensions.

The artist is collected on a world wide basis.

Price range information: Sorry none available.

For his artistic education Barrett attended the School of Visual Arts located in New York City and the Maryland Institute of Art located in Baltimore, Maryland.

Over the years Barrett lived in Miami and New York City but is now based out of Massachusetts.
