Peter Morgan is a contemporary Inuit artists who works with birds as his main subject. Peter Morgan was born in the year 1951 in the Quebec, Canada region. Peter Morgan is a sculptor first and foremost, but also has produced stone cut lithograph works.
Part of his artist’s signature is to put two bird footprints of a small sparrow he was obsessed with as a child.
Morgan often works with caribou antlers for his medium of choice.

Morgan began to carve at age twelve by watching his father. His father in law showed Morgan the art of printmaking. Peter Morgan is one of few Inuit artists to create a solo print collection. Morgan was first renown as a printmaker, and as the result of a studio he shared being destroyed, Morgan then took up sculpture.
Peter Morgan is based out of Kangiqsualujjuaq, Quebec, Canada.
