Huang Yulong is a contemporary artist born in Huai Nan, An Hui province, China in the year 1983. For his artistic education Jingdezhen Ceramic Institute where he earned bachelor of fine arts degree. He works with sculpture and with mediums including bronze, ceramics, crystal, and porcelain.
Started showing his work in 2006.
His work is a great example of the effect that America’s culture has had on his generation, which includes people born after the year 1980s.
To him the hip hop culture he tries to portray isn’t just a culture, its a state of being. A way of life.
